The name of the place we stayed at in Agios Giordos our first 2 nights. |
A view from the street down to the pool and then the beach. |
The beach was a hike from our hotel so we only did it the first day on the second we drove to a better beach, but we still made the hike down and up for dinner and this exhausted the kids but all they could talk about was getting into the pool for a late night swim.

The veranda |
The morning before we left this hotel the kids did one more swim while I packed the bags and Arthur packed the car, it was a great way to keep them occupied while we did some work.

The view of the rooms |
The third night we stayed at Nissaki Beach Hotel, the beach was a laugh, all large rocks and boulders, the pool closed at 7pm, the first room they gave us was infested with ants when we got back from dinner, making us move to a 2nd room and therefore waking up baby Kat so that the kids were up way past midnight. For 100euros a night it was not the best of stays, but they did have a bath and so I was able to shave my legs (I have no idea why I didn't do it before the trip) and it was more comfortable getting the kids bathed.

The first room veranda on the ground floor |
on our 3rd night we stayed here, at 100euros a night it was the most expensive. |
The second room on the 6 floor with bunk beds. |
The 100euros included breakfast, but after that we were on the road again looking for something better and we found it about 30 minutes north west in Sidhari. Sidhari is filled with British families, if your from Britain this is probably not such a great thing, but being that I miss speaking English it was great fun for me.
I ate at this restaurant while the kids swam. |
The northern part of Corfu is filled with places that allow you to swim for free in their pools or use their umbrellas/chairs on the beach, in hopes that you will eat or drink something while there. Also it seemed all of the pools had slides, I believe this is because there is a slide amusement park not far from here so they make a point of trying to keep you at their pool.
Corfu Beer 2euros a Pint, it was very good. |
The pool at the 4th and last place we stayed at. |
Can you see the slide in the back, it was very dangerous, but fun and Nik liked going down it with me.
A table and 2 beds in one room, a double bed in another room, a kitchen and bath. |
The kitchen, for 40 euros this was a great place to bunk up for 1 night,
although the kids were eaten alive by mosquitos, I personally killed 6 but saw
about 6 more. |
BAMBAM |
The rooms also had little huts |
