Lightening, Thunder and Sun, Lightening, Thunder and Sun

If you look to the right you can see a lightening strike on the rock, this is a picture taken just outside of KokaRoka by a tourist. This is the kind of weather we have been having one minute there is lightening and thunder (the thunder surrounds you as the sound bounces off of the rocks) and the next minute we have sun, then it goes back to thunder and lightening. I made clam chowder stew and oatmeal cookies to go along with the wet weather and boy was it very yummy. Arthur and I didn't even share with his parents, but we have promised to double the recipe and bring some down next time, I hope it makes it down to the KokaRoka.

Lightning? Anyway, it is raining here today and we went down to a Japanese Restaurant in Sacramento, near the university. We actually have the heat on and Al Gore wins a Nobel Peace Prize for Global Warming?

Cool picture Mara. It rained here in Irvine last night - we're so thankful because we are currently experiencing one of the driest years on record. Hope you are staying dry.
